Yoga for Everyone!!!!

This book is an exceptionally comprehensive review of mudras including:
-how to use
-why to use
-when to use precaution, for example during pregnancy
-how they work
Dr Indu Arora teaches globally, and one of her biggest messages is, 'If you can breathe, you can practice yoga.' This excellent book is full of practical information for all people to use to access health and wellbeing.

best book out there on mudras....but

I give this book four stars. She is excellent in demonstrating the mudras & I have already begun to use some of them with positive results during meditation & yoga. However unless you already know sanskrit the accompanying mantras will b difficult if not impossible for you to translate & pronounce correctly. I have been practicing yoga for 10 years & have many friends that are instructors & even they are guessing. She should have a cd to go with or utube so you can hear the correct pronouciations. Give me a break did she write this for the beginner in mind? I think not & anyone that gave a five star review is either fluent in sanskrit or didn't really read the book and apply it.
Additionally she demonstrated several mudras but never discussed their benefits or use for you so why are they in this book? That's nice that they are used for Hindu rituals but what do I care if I can't use it in my everyday life for practical purposes? I really do not understand why they are in this book.
Still, the best book out there on mudras even if you need to do a little further research on translation etc.

Bringing forth freedom

I ordered this book and bought several other copies to take with me on my recent May trip to COLOMBIA. I gave these books as gifts and they were a BIG HIT! Several women informed me that they were just touched, healed, delivered and set free from many oppresive states. This book is a powerful book, it is a very insightful book with concrete examples that women share. As I read it, I felt empowered and rejuvenated at the annointing of this book. All women should read it. I am glad that there is now a book for men.
